Breast Cancer Month

Hi

Breast cancer affects everyone maybe not physically but you may know someone who has had it.
So this month is BREAST CANCER MONTH so everybody PLEASE CHECK YOUR BOOBIES here are some tips on how to check your boobs.

Start by standing in front of a mirror. Look at your breasts with your arms at your side, with your arms raised behind your head, and with your arms on your hips and your chest muscles flexed.

Examination in front of mirror
Next, lie down with a pillow under your left shoulder. Put your left hand behind your head and feel your left breast with the pads of the 3 middle fingers on your right hand. Start at the outer edge and work around your breast in small circles, getting closer to your nipple with each circle. After you've finished checking your breast, squeeze your nipple gently and look for discharge (fluid coming out of the nipple).

Examination lying down
Do the same thing to your right breast with a pillow under your right shoulder.

Pattern of examination
Be sure to include the area up to your collarbone and out to your armpit. You have lymph nodes in this area. Cancer can spread to lymph node tissue.

Early detection can save your life.

hi this is my first go at blogging.

Well the first attempt was about 142 words short but that is what I get for not reading things properly. When we were first told about this training my heart sunk computers and I do not get along. I did say why do I have to learn we do have technicians you know, so with some trepidation  I started 2.0  hence the wrong amount of words for the 1st blog. I am quite pleased with myself as I now know how to blog well sort of anyway hopefully enough to get by on this training. The good thing about this course is it has everyone talking and exchanging information on how to do things though normally I'm listening not giving the advice. Well its a bit longer but I don't think it's the full 150 words but it's better than the 8 words I started with. Hopefully by the end I will be a bit more confident but we still have technicians to fix what I propbably broke in the first place.
